Announcing Gomeeki’s Acquisition of 2ergo Australia

Gomeeki (www.gomeeki.com), a leading provider of convergent digital communications for business, entertainment and marketing, announces the acquisition of Australian based subsidiary of the AIM listed 2ergo Group plc., 2ergo Australia Pty Ltd as part of a move to consolidate it’s leading position in the Asia-Pacific region.

Gomeeki has acquired the mobile services agency, which specialises in developing mobile Internet, mobile applications and mobile marketing services for brands, broadcasters and agencies, for an undisclosed sum. 2ergo Australia, a market leader in mobile marketing in Australia with close links to the mobile network operators and full service agencies, establishes the platform for Gomeeki to strengthen its capabilities and team inline with its strategic growth plan.

Shaun Dobbin, CEO of Gomeeki, said: “This is a significant deal for Gomeeki with the management of 2ergo Australia having put in place a great foundation to date. We can see the opportunity to realise the synergies between the two businesses in order to take this to the next level. The combined web and mobile capabilities presents Gomeeki with considerable scope to support Australian businesses looking to enhance their digital offerings.”

As a result of the acquisition, Gomeeki will support brands such as the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), ASX (Australian Stock Exchange), Eagle Boys Pizza and Fantastic Furniture with their mobile solutions. These prestigious contracts and the intellectual property rights to the technology supporting them are now owned by Gomeeki.
